        the male was working on his latest piece for his college portfolio. he had to finish it in a couple of weeks but he thought getting a head start on it would be his best bet, the male sat at his canvas and painting while humming to himself. joonho got up, looking at his painting before turning to the other and offering them a smile. the colours were bright, his favourite colour palette to use when he was creating work. “so...what do you think?” he asked before he looked back at the canvas himself. “i still need to work on it i think but it’s a start right?” he added, cocking his head to the side as he studied his own work to see what he would need to improve. / @gnhwa​

Task || 001

This is a community. Which means that no matter what, we stick together. That goes for the good and the bad. We all take advantage of everyone’s hard work by using the things they bring us, eating the food they make, living safely because they protect us or by following their rules. So, when we are given missions, we do our best to complete them. Knowing that they are all important and that our success will help everyone. I hope everyone does their best and returns safely. Here are your missions.

This task is meant to be done by Sunday, the 7th of July. This is a paired task, where 2 muses will be paired at random for it. You are meant to create a thread, para or otherwise, where both muses try and complete the task given to them. You do not have to finish this thread by the 7th. However, I do ask that you do start it before Monday.

Your characters are in danger but they will only get hurt if YOU want them to (please message me before making that decision). They might also have NPCs with them during their mission and they might get injured or killed (again, please contact me before). Your goal is to perform the task given to you by the community, however, you might succeed or fail. (Inform me before if you think they will succeed or fail please. So that I can keep it balanced on how many make it and how many don’t.)

Here are the pairings and their task:

Group 1

SHIN JAEIN

CHA SUMIN

You two were sent outside to collect something (up to you) and noticed one of the teenagers from the community had snuck out and found trouble in the nearby woods. They’re in real dangerous and surrounded by a hoard of zombies. You have no time to call for someone else. If they live or die is going to be decided by what you do next.  (If your characters succeed their mission they will save the teenager).

Group 2

MOON HANBIN

KATHERINE CHOI

You two were sent out with one of the cars to look through an isolated house that hasn’t been searched yet. This house is located in the middle of the woods and far away from anyone who might help you. I advice you to be extra careful, there’s a whole family inside and they’ve turned. (If your characters succeed their mission they will bring back clothing, canned food and two bottles of pills for the community).

Group 3

KANG JILHEE

Someone has to clear the road. One of the roads that leads to the community has been covered in falled trees, probably from a storm in the past years. They need to clear the road so that they can use it instead of wasting gas every time and going around through the opposite direction. However, loud noises attract zombies. (If your characters succeed their mission they will help the community save on gas).

Group 4

LIM EUNBIN

LEE JAEHWA

We need more wood for the rest of the wall that is yet to be built. You were given one truck and two axes and sent off to the woods. Your goal is to fill the truck as much as you can without letting the zombies get you. The only issue is that cutting down trees makes a lot of noise and it might attract them to your location.  (If your characters succeed their mission they will bring back wood for the community). 

Group 5

MOON ARIN

JUNG EUNHYUK

Medicine is one of the most important things for the community. After founding an old business card, they found out that there was a dentist just ten minutes away (by horse because we can’t afford to spend too much gas). Let’s hope that nobody went there already and you can still find something. Be careful, I heard there’s a hoard of zombies walking around the area.  (If your characters succeed their mission they will bring back medicine for the community).

Group 6

DANNY LU

MIN HYUNSIK

Your task is to fill a water tank. Simple right? The only problem is... The water tank weights more than one of you does and the river makes noise so there are normally zombies around. Good luck.  (If your characters succeed their mission they will bring back water for the community).

Group 7

KIM DOHUN

SEO GANGDOO

Building a wall around the community isn’t easy. Nor is finishing the houses in the community. It’s especially difficult when they have a limited amount of tools at their disposal. However, there is a small store that used to have tools close by. You were given two horses to go and check it out. Hopefully there’s still tools there. You might run into a few zombies along the way and at the location, so be careful. (If your characters succeed their mission they will bring back tools for the community).

Group 8

KWON “JOSEPH” JOONHO

BAE JUNGSOO

It was a supply run gone wrong. Neither of them normally did supply runs but, due to lack of personnel to send to the various locations, they had been chosen to go along on one. Until there was a hoard of zombies that caused the group to get split up. They’re in a department store and have to escape and return safely. (If your characters succeed their mission they will save themselves and be able to help the others return safely with all the things they already had in the car).
